MOSAIC WALL ART PANELS

These mosaics are made from broken ceramic tiles leftover from the installation of the tile floors in our new home.  I had the builder save the excess tiles and have done multiple projects with them.  The bases for this project are wooden wall plaques purchased from Marshall’s on clearance. They were a little beaten up and had a not so great routed flower design.  I love these types of mosaic bases since the hardware to hang it is already in place.  The clearance sections of Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are my favorite places to find mosaic bases such as wall art, bowls, trays, picture frames, etc. (you can deal with scratches and damage because you are going to mosaic over it anyway).

In addition to these panels - I created another mosaic out of the same broken ceramic tiles.  The project was larger and applied directly to the bathroom wall - MOSAIC WALL ART II.
